THE PRACTICE
In this private retreat, we will gather in Sedona under the Full Pink Moon, using powerful practices that open up possibilities for illumination and transformation. You’ll learn how to train your attention to become calm and concentrated. When your beam becomes steady, worry softens, emotions settle, and a quiet confidence begins to grow. You can feel more centered, more empowered and more connected to your own inner guidance.
We will use practical yogic techniques, connect with the land, and facilitate sacred ceremonies that can help you navigate life with strength and serenity. By the end, you’ll have the tools to return to your inner light anytime you need it - and live from that light more and more each day!

YOUR HOSTS

Kat Sage
Kat Sage is a dedicated Sacred Space Holder, RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, Crystal Healer, and Ceremonialist who loves for others to experience the magical energies of Sedona. She was first introduced to the area when she attended Northern Arizona University. She would often hike in Sedona and began to notice crystals lying in the sun alongside the hiking trails. She learned that fellow hikers were leaving their crystals on the path in order for them to be charged up by sunlight. Since then, she has worked with crystals and been on an exploration of her holistic interests. For over a decade, Kat and her husband held a dream of designing a space in Sedona for others to experience the energy of this celestial place.Through hosting our retreat, guiding us on hikes, and offering moments of presence & growth through ceremony, she creates a nurturing environment for you to return to your Luminous Self.

Shelby Luigs
Shelby Luigs is a yoga teacher, ceremonialist, and breathwork facilitator. Shelby has been teaching yoga since 2018 and is most inspired by the ways in which practice on the mat can parallel and influence experience in life, offering lessons in adaptability, flexibility, strength, acceptance, openness, and surrender. Her intention is to continue on this path of self knowledge, to see how her yoga practice can impact her life, and to share this journey with others through the gift of teaching. In her classes, she hopes to offer a practice that encourages opening in the body, a focused awareness on the breath, and a meditative pace that allows the practitioner to turn inward and find stillness in the mind. In addition, she has developed a personal practice and relationship with the spirit of Cacao that began in 2022, and is excited to share this medicine with others. She believes there is much potential for connection to ourselves, each other, and the Earth with softened, more open hearts. She is also a firm believer in the power of the breath. Breathwork has allowed her to access meditative states, feel cathartic emotional release, and connect to her intuition. She is happy to extend this invitation to others, offering a pathway to embrace more lightness as we journey forward together.

Olivia Rokotnitz
Olivia Rokotnitz, E-RYT500 is the owner of Delta Groove Yoga and Delta Groove Yoga School. Yoga has been in Olivia's life since she was a teenager. She taught her first yoga class in 2000 and soon after stepped away from the professional finance world. You will find her constantly reading and studying different aspects of yoga and continuing her education with evolutionary teachers from around the world. It is her love and passion for yoga that inspired the creation of Delta Groove Yoga in 2013 and Delta Groove Yoga School in 2016. Olivia is currently teaching private classes in person and via streaming. She facilitates yoga teacher trainings as well as retreats that bring conscious communities together to illuminate and upgrade our energy bodies. Her teaching approach is dynamic, playful, and uplifting! It is inspired by the Vedic/Tantric Yoga Lineages and Tibetan Buddhism. Her classes combine Kundalini Yoga, Himalayan Kriya, Pranayama, Mantra, Meditation, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Gentle Yoga with many wisdoms woven in between.

Wendy Sumner-Winter
Wendy Sumner-Winter will be cooking for the retreat, bringing a lifelong relationship with food as practice, service, and care. Early in her career, Wendy worked as a professional chef and restaurateur, where she learned that a successful kitchen depends as much on calm attention and steady presence as it does on technical skill. She continues to study the kitchen as a place of inquiry, exploring how food can thoughtfully nourish and bring joy within a wide range of needs, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. Her approach is informed by Buddhist philosophy, particularly shoshin (beginner’s mind) and dhamma vicaya (the spirit of inquiry), and by the understanding that constraint can sharpen creativity rather than diminish it. Much like the discipline of kriyas, working within boundaries hones attention and allows something more refined, sometimes surprising, to emerge. Though she no longer cooks professionally, returning to the kitchen in this context is a return to a first love. Through her cooking, Wendy hopes to offer food as a form of ritual and ceremony—meals that nourish, delight, and invite people to rest into the experience of being fed.
