Why the French Riviera?
Duh! Perfect weather, cornucopious farmers' markets, the mythic Mediterranean at our feet, the light that brought Matisse, Picasso, Cézanne, and P.Diddy here... Also, Valentine's family is willing to let us use their gorgeous villa with a pool.

Why Yoga & Writing?
The quick answer is, because we love both passionately. Also, over our combined 40+ years of teaching and facilitating, we have learned that our bodies are full of stories waiting to be told, and our stories hunger for the sensory detail that will bring them to life. Yoga has the power to uncoil and unwind our Muse in a safe and systematic way, freeing that vital creative impulse for a more vibrant, happy, and fulfilled life.

Sacred Space, Sacred Time, Sacred Community
We make sure you have plenty of time to explore, enjoy the sensual riches that the French Riviera has to offer, and spend precious time with yourself if you wish. We also value the sacred space we create for a sacred time together, and we expect all participants to participate in most of the activities we offer. This is not meant to be a family vacation, but a Retreat for the body, heart, soul, and spirit!
HOW DO I GET THERE?*
You may fly directly into Nice airport. Then we can arrange for a taxi to take you to the villa, about a 50 minutes drive away from the airport. You can also take a train from Paris to Saint-Raphael - Valescure (about 5 hours). The train station is only a 25 minutes taxi ride from the villa.

Fee: $1790*
Includes shared accommodations; all on-site, freshly prepared delicious meals; day-long Pilgrimage to La Sainte-Baume, Mary-Magdalene's holy grotto; and all teaching for 7 days and 6 nights at the "Be Nice or Leave" villa in Sainte-Maxime, France.

Make up to 5 payments before March 30th, 2023
*Cancelation policy:
- If you cancel before February 1st, 2023, your Down Payment Deposit will be forfeited.
- If you cancel before May 1st and register for another of our international retreats within 2 years, an $800 credit will be applied to the new retreat.
- There will be no refunds after May 1st.
